Hi!! I’m Lada, a full-time wedding photographer and filmmaker from Jersey, who loves Jesus, nostalgia, and God’s beautiful creation all around us. It’s always been in my nature to be a creative, and whimsically running around in nature with adventurous couples is one of my favorite things to do!!
What started as an unexpected hobby turned into a calling.

My photography and videography journey began when my brother gifted me my first camera for my birthday in the summer of 2020. The next day, I took my camera to my favorite beach in Ocean City, NJ to photograph everything I saw. The birds, the waves, the footprints in the sand trailing off into the distance. Soon, I started to photograph surfers, the sunrise, my friends, and new couples in my friend group. Before I knew it, I photographed my first wedding and fell in love with the magic of weddings and the beautiful commitment two people make to each other.
I have always been a creative with big dreams. Growing up, I was an artist. Drawing, painting, and performing through music and theatre with every opportunity I could get. I always had an eye for composition, colors, shadows, realism and portraying or expressing my own emotions and interests in my drawings and performances. All throughout my childhood and even through college, I wrestled with the concept of a typical 9-5 career. My path was never perfectly clear like so many around me, but I always knew deep down that I was destined to create.
But one thing was always clear to me—I LOVED stories. I am the type of person to rewatch the same movie over and over again, even though I could probably quote the whole thing, because I love the story and it makes me feel things every time. From my elementary school to college years, I could often be found immersed in a fictional book series inspired by fantasy, the future, myths, or fairy tales. I wanted to be in the stories of adventure, magic, friendship, love, and wonder.
When photography and videography appeared in my life, it opened up my world. I didn't just consume stories now or yearn to be in them—I could capture and even create them. I could share them with others, and make them feel things too. I love to watch love stories unfold, and feel so full of life when I have the honor to capture them on wedding days or help tell one during a session. To be able to provide couples with the ability to see themselves in their own cinematic story, whether that’s through photo or video, is such a gift.
Who says our favorite characters have to be on a page or a screen, and not in a mirror?

- I’ve been married to my best friend Jared since August of 2023! Being married gives me a whole different perspective on capturing love and wedding days, because I've experienced it all firsthand and can relate to my sweet couples.
- I consider myself a social introvert! I recharge my social batteries at home with my husband, but I love to spend time with my favorite people. When it comes to capturing love stories, you can bet I'll be asking you a ton of questions about yourselves and yelling "SO GOOD!!" and "AHH!!" at least 100 times out of pure excitement.
- Our cat Sylvie is the best office mate ever, and stays by my side through all hours of the day and night. If you hop on a zoom call with me, there's a good chance you'll meet her. ;)
- I am Russian and can understand the language (speaking it is another story though, haha)!
